INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
In the development of information systems, Stoas bases itself on the following three principles:
a. The individual, the student, is central to any school organisation. This means that the education, tuition and supervision are focused on this individual.
b. The present supply driven education has been tilted in favour of demand driven education. This means that we look at what a student is already capable of, and what he or she should still learn given a certain career perspective. This career perspective is the guiding principle for the educational institutions and can therefore be broader than what is supplied by the institution.
c. The present learning contents have developed. They have been aimed more at the skills and competence that need to be acquired. The learning contents themselves are very much subject to change, are more volatile, and are now more more flexible to accommodate various types of students.
Together with you, Stoas will take up the challenge to shape the education of the future.
